The Indian Skipper MS Dhoni seems upset with media persons nowadays and once again he has taken a jibe at them at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium where India is going to face Australia in a “must win” match.
As per the report published in Mid-Day, some photographers and journalists were present at the stadium while Dhoni was taking part in the training session. After he finished playing football, he questioned the media persons, “Cricket kheloge?” (Would you like to play cricket?)
When there was no response from media persons, he said, “Agar tum khel sakte, toh tum yahan hote aur hum wahan.” (If you could play cricket, you would be on the field while we would where you are).
Dhoni also got angry talking to reporters during the post-match press conference after the victory over Bangladesh. He was asked by one journalist, whether he was completely happy with this victory considering the fact that India needed to win with big margin for improving the run rate as it may come in picture if India’s match against Australia gets washed out due to rain.
Dhoni didn’t like the question and replied, “I know you aren’t happy that India won today.”
The reporter tried to explain but Dhoni didn’t let him speak, “Listen to me. Hearing you, your tone and your question, it’s clear that you aren’t happy that India has won. And when talking about a cricket match, there’s no script. It’s not about the script.”
He further slammed him, “You have to analyse that after losing the toss, what was the reason that we couldn’t make many runs on that wicket. If you aren’t analysing these things sitting outside, then you shouldn’t ask this question.”
Before leaving for Asia Cup also, Dhoni got angry with the reporters when they questioned him about his retirement.
