Virat Kohli is posing threat to the records set by Sachin Tendulkar even before completing a decade long career. By now, The Indian Test Skipper broke Sachin's 25 Tons record (234 innings) within just 162 innings. So far, Kohli scored 7,212 runs at an impressive average of 51.51.
In IPL, Sachin Tendulkar used to hold the record of only captain to score over 500 runs in two editions. Master scored 618 runs in 2010 and 553 runs in 2011 respectively.
Whereas, Kohli equalled Sachin's record last year. He made 634 runs in 2013 and 505 runs in 2015. With Yesterday's match against Rising Pune Supergiants, He became the first cricketer to score 500 runs in the 9th edition of IPL. Overall, Kohli is the only IPL Captain to score 500-plus runs in three Seasons. Already, He hit two centuries in IPL 9 and still have 6 league matches to play.
