Nabha Natesh, from the Kannada industry, makes her Telugu film debut
Kannada actor Nabha Natesh makes her debut in a Telugu film being directed by Ravi Babu. Exuberant, talkative and a live wire, Nabha is an easy-going and a friendly person. Ask her how she landed in a Telugu movie, she says, "Ravi Babu saw my pictures and audition videos and cast me. I met him only on the set."
Speaking about her background, she says, "I am from the theatre and I know how to portray different characters. Nabha means sky in Sanskrit and it is special to me because it is a combination of my parents name. Na is from my dad Natesh and Bha is from Bhagya… my mom's name." This engineering graduate was a Miss India South Zone finalist once and had also done modelling and theatre.
Nabha debuted in Kannada films last year with Vajrakaya opposite Shivraj Kumar. In Vajrakaya, she played a rebellious character 'Pataka Parvathy'. "I had to change my body language as it was like a rowdy character. After the film released people kept calling me 'Pataka Parvathy', she adds.
Coming back to Ravi Babu's film, Nabha reveals it has Abhishek a newcomer from theatre background as her co-star.
The story is a rom-com and touted to be an absolute laugh riot and is produced by Suresh Babu.
